SAN CHEZ, A TAPAS BISTRO: West Michigan’s only authentic tapas bistro, featuring the food -- and fun -- of Spain (with a little Latin flair), every evening. Rehearsal dinners are amazing sharing and family gatherings with waves of food brought to your guests’ tables. The Bistro can accommodate private parties of up to 200 people. Our balcony can accommodate 110 people, and the upper gallery, 75 people.
SAN CHEZ CAFÉ: Our early morning and noontime side. This is a great Sunday Brunch venue for the day after the celebration! Featuring traditional plates, breakfast sandwiches, wraps, and organic and fair trade gourmet coffees and loose-leaf teas. For lunch, legendary San Chez favorites on our famous “speed lunch”. Great food doesn’t have to take a long time or cost a lot. The Café can accommodate up to 100 people, and with the atrium between our Bistro and Café’ can accommodate 150 people.
Panoramic windows, exposed brick walls and vaulted ceilings, flank SAN CHEZ THIRD FLOOR BANQUET CENTER: Catering was a natural part of the business plan from the beginning. In fact, we did our first wedding on the shores of Lake Michigan before we were actually open in the downtown location. Since then we have grown to become among West Michigan’s premier caterers, and today have 6000 square feet of dedicated banquet space on our 3rd Floor with panoramic views of downtown Grand Rapids. This urban loft exudes sophisticated elegance and boasts spectacular views of downtown Grand Rapids. It can accommodate up to 300 people in a variety of configurations, from stand-up buffet to a formal white tablecloth plated dinner.
