Organization
is Key
The key to staying
sane while planning your wedding is getting and staying
organized!
Wedding
books are a great resource...
Many
wedding planning books include wonderful information
on everything
from wedding etiquette to tips and tricks for hiring
wedding professionals, decorating, and more. Some
books also contain planning sections with worksheets
to help track all of your wedding plans.
The
only drawbacks to these planning sections are
that they typically do not include a place to keep
the
very important brochures, paperwork and contracts
from your wedding professionals and venues. In
addition, there may be many sections that either
may
not apply to your
wedding or are not big enough to hold all of
your information.
Make
your own wedding organizer!
I suggest that you
buy one or two good wedding books and use them as a guide
to make your own, personal wedding organizer. This is
something I did while planning my own wedding and it
worked amazingly
well. This
may seem like a lot of extra work, but it will actually
save you plenty of time and frustration in the long run.
All
you need is a 3-ring binder, dividers, a few 3-ring
zip
lock
sections,
some paper and a three-hole punch. By
adding pictures and decorations to your binder and
pages,
and your
organizer
will
be a
wonderful
keepsake
for years to come! The best part is that you will
have everything in one place in your new highly practical,
completely personalized, and easy to edit wedding
organizer.
